Revolution can be a Pain in the Neck
Technology companies boast about their "revolutionary" new products, but it is the customer who is often caught under the guillotine without support or reasonable upgrade paths for older products.
The concept of revolution is often romanticized by those who seek to radically change the established order. It’s a great rallying cry for fervent followers. And it has its just place in overthrowing despotic political rulers.
But what is revolution, really? It is upheaval, war, heartache, loss and the severing of ties. In other words, it can be very painful – just ask Marie Antoinette. This is not the kind of environment you would probably want for your business.
