Carrier

Carrier, an integrated module of RedPrairie’s Transportation Management solution, provides a web portal for carriers to receive and accept or reject loads from shippers. It also allows them to post capacities and constraints, provide shipment status information, including special statuses such as trailer temperatures, and schedule appointments. Shippers can also post requests to carriers for delinquent or missing information through this module. Information is consistent with standard EDI formats, but without the expensive EDI network cost. This enables carriers to quickly and efficiently provide the information transportation planners and customers need to better manage transportation.
