Dock Scheduler

Dock Scheduler, an integrated module of RedPrairie’s Transportation Management solution, provides a graphic interface for inbound and outbound appointment scheduling. The application allows carriers to directly request and schedule appointments online via an advanced web-based carrier portal. It includes dock door equipment and capacity parameters, and optimally matches load attributes to operational capacities and constraints. This constraint-based solution automatically allocates loads to appropriate dock door appointment slots to maximize dock door and equipment utilization, reduce dwell-time charges and level load the daily appointment schedules.
