Can RedPrairie Create an Alternative SOA Landscape to ERP?

AMR Research recently sent a small team of analysts to Milwaukee to meet with the RedPrairie executive team. I was along for the long overdue update; my last detailed briefing was in May 2004. A lot has happened since then: the Red Sox have won two World Series rings, the Patriots added another Super Bowl victory, and the Celtics took home the NBA basketball championship title … and just as much has happened at RedPrairie.
For one, it’s a much larger company in terms of revenue, employees, and customers. The company ended 2007 with $253.2M, which was double the FY05 revenue. First quarter results for this year were strong as well, with revenue coming in at $70.5M. More on that on the blog (http://firstthingmonday.net).
