RedPrairie, one of the industry's largest providers of supply chain software solutions, continued it's steady record of acquisitions over the past seven years with the announcement last week it was purchasing Shippers Commonwealth, a provider of on-demand Transportation Management Systems, which, interestingly, was a current partner for RedPrairie's TMS.
