RedPrairie Corporation reports revenues for the first half of 2009

Global productivity solutions provider posts over $130 million in revenue for six months ending June 30, 2009
MILWAUKEE, Wis.  – RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity software provider, has announced revenues of over $130 million for the first half of 2009, posting strong performance relative to both the economic climate and the supply chain solutions market as a whole. RedPrairie’s software license bookings for the same period totaled approximately $16 million.

“We consider our performance this year a solid one so far, given the economic and competitive conditions with which we are faced,” says RedPrairie CEO, Mike Mayoras. “It’s no secret that the global recession has affected many companies using inventory, transportation and workforce software. We continue to be committed to executing for our customers, and looking for opportunities to make the most critical areas of their businesses more productive and efficient.”

Significant achievements for the first half of the year include:

  • Continued strong revenue contribution from RedPrairie’s European, Middle East, African (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets, with over 25 percent of overall revenues.  “Earlier this year, we moved our APAC headquarters to Singapore as part of our global growth strategy,” says Martin Hiscox, Managing Director and President International at RedPrairie.  “Even with a challenging global economic environment, we’ve managed to execute on our growth plans and add new customers in all our regions.”

  • Closed approximately 100 contracts and orders globally, including markets like New Zealand, China, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

  • New releases of core inventory, transportation and workforce solutions; the introduction of SaaS offerings across the entire RedPrairie solution suite; and the announcement of the RedPrairie Collaborative Flowcasting Group, LLC, a new joint venture introducing a demand-driven planning solution.

  • Over 60 “go-live” distribution center implementations, totaling over two a week, in approximately 15 countries.  During the first half of the year, RedPrairie issued press releases on implementation successes with Cabot Creamery Cooperative, Cambridge University Press, The Carphone Warehouse, Delphi Corporation, Diamond Comic Distributors, GSI Commerce, Houston Bottling & Co-Pack, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, SANNA-LITIER Group, Sargento Foods, SCA Transforest, and Shearer’s Foods.
RedPrairie is a privately-held company.
