Here our team of research scientists, industry veterans and product strategy and R&D experts work together to challenge the status quo.

As one of the world’s premier technology labs serving advanced analytics and optimization science, the Center of Excellence was formed based on a combination of resources between RedPrairie and Planora Inc., an organization founded by optimization research scientists Louis-Martin Rousseau Ph.D. and Alexandre Le Bouthillier Ph.D., and industry veteran Jean-Francois Gagné, and led by Planora Executive Chairman Pierre Donaldson.

Based in Montreal, the Center of Excellence was established with guiding principles:

• To create sustainable competitive advantage for RedPrairie customers through a commitment to active innovation, thought leadership and optimization around existing and emerging RedPrairie solutions.
• To keep commerce in motion for leading companies such as manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, and consumers around the world, no matter what marketplace complexities present themselves.
• To bring together the brightest minds in academia and industry that serve as a brain trust for optimization research that powers robust optimization technologies.

Established July 2012, the Center of Excellence leverages RedPrairie’s more than 35 years of innovation relative to supply chain, workforce and all-channel retail technologies.
