KunJEK selects RedPrairie Warehouse Management for Shanghai distribution center

Chinese hardware supplier plans global rollout in 2011

SHANGHAI & ATLANTA – RedPrairie Corporation, a global supply chain and retail technology provider, announced today that KunJEK, a leading Chinese supplier of hand tools and general hardware, has selected RedPrairie Warehouse Management for its Shanghai distribution center, with plans to roll the solution out to additional facilities in 2011.

“During the selection process, RedPrairie’s team proved themselves with the fastest response times and best relationships with their other customers,” says Peter Wen, KunJEK CEO. “We plan to use their solution to enhance our operation’s BOM and kitting processes, and relieve bottlenecks that have prevented us from reaching our full potential in the past.”

KunJEK was particularly interested in the solution’s ability to support clustering and multiple languages. The company plans to use Warehouse Management to direct multiple sites in the future, with plans to roll the solution out to more than five additional facilities before the end of the year.
