PetroLiance to lower costs, improve productivity with wireless Fleet Management support from RedPrairie
Global productivity solutions company partners with BizSpeed to support Liquid Controls-designed equipment
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – RedPrairie Corporation, a world leading consumer driven optimization company, announced today that the RedPrairie Fleet Management solution will supply leading industrial fluids distributor PetroLiance with wireless support for PetroLiance’s Liquid Controls LCR-II flow meters. PetroLiance worked with RedPrairie, in partnership with BizSpeed, to develop wireless integration with the hardware to create an accurate and seamless customer experience that can be applied for all bulk liquid distributors.
“Fleet Management will allow PetroLiance to save money, improve inventory control, and lower the amount of time for collections and revenue recognition,” says Glenn White, PetroLiance COO, “By allowing our customers and drivers to account for delivery without the need for complicated hookups, signatures, and receipts, the solution’s wireless integration with our flow meters will improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of all our deliveries. In total, RedPrairie and BizSpeed’s wireless integration will enable significant savings across all of our bulk liquid distribution operations.”

Completed delivery information is immediately synchronized with the back office to produce a completely paperless record.”
An integrated module of RedPrairie’s Transportation Management (TMS) system, Fleet Management optimizes daily routing and scheduling of local pickup and delivery for private and dedicated fleets. Through effective load balancing and stop assignment, Fleet Management ensures efficient capacity use, making it possible to serve more customers each day, and potentially reduce the number of vehicles in operation. Coupled with the new wireless integration, the module provides for faster, smoother transactions than ever before.
